Overview
After having been acquired by Qualcomm medical technology company HealthyCircles was in need of recreating their existing image library to meet the Qualcomm brand standards as well as create a suite of new icons.
The existing logos were complicated with a faux 3d style and created using a full range of colors, while the Qualcomm standards were simple, flat and graphic and would need to be single color black or white on standardized colored badges.
My Role
I worked as an icon artist both converting an exisitng library of images as well as creating new icons for the needs of the health care company.
Building The Library

Process
I began by selecting a few of the more basic images from the Healthy Circles library to attempt to recreate them matching Qualcomm's more simplified style. Each icon would initially need to be created as the line work version as well as a blue, orange and grey backed white version.
Having firmed up the basic approach I continued and as the process went on I moved into more and more conceptual and complicated images. Over the course of working on the project I was informed that we would no longer need the orange or grey version and that we could simplify the badge styling.
Ultimately a library of several hundred images were created in this style, encompassing everything from devices and products to patients, procedures and actions.
